About the Person

This is a personal story of a patient who was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis over six years ago. Since the diagnosis, the condition has gradually affected various aspects of her physical health and daily activities. The chronic joint pain — most noticeable in her hands, feet, and shoulders — has significantly altered her lifestyle and routines. Once simple movements and tasks have become increasingly difficult, especially during colder weather, which tends to intensify the pain.

As she shares her experience, she hopes to find ways to better manage her condition, reduce discomfort, and regain a sense of ease in her day-to-day life.

The Symptoms

The patient experiences persistent joint pain that interferes with basic motor functions such as walking long distances or opening bottles. The soles of her feet become painful with extended movement, contributing to general fatigue. Her hands and fingers often ache, making everyday tasks — like opening a soda or lifting objects — painful and challenging. These symptoms worsen in cold conditions, limiting her physical comfort and independence.
