Energy that Transforms Event: Discover Mitozz

Guests gathered at Talento Restaurant in Guadalajara on November 6, 2025, for Energy that Transforms, an immersive Mitozz event exploring the science of mitochondrial health, cellular energy, and longevity. Led by the Mitozz founding team, the evening blended education, conversation, and community around the idea that true vitality begins at the cellular level.

Dark Chocolate, Epicatechin, and Cellular Energy

Chocolate is often enjoyed for its flavor, but research into cocoa points to something deeper. Discover how epicatechin has been studied for its role in supporting how cells produce and manage energy.

What Happens to Your Mitochondria When You Don’t Sleep Enough?

You already know that sleep is essential for your brain and mood but did you know it’s also critical for your mitochondria?

Where Energy, Science, and Community Come Together – Mitozz Community

We’re excited to announce that on Monday, October 20th, we officially launched the Mitozz Community, a new digital home for people who want to understand, explore, and share everything about mitochondrial health, cellular energy, and vitality.

Beauty From Within: How Cellular Health Creates Glowing Skin

Most of the time, when we think about beauty, we focus on what we see in the mirror: the radiance of our skin, the firmness of our body, the freshness of our gaze, or the shine of our hair. We look for solutions in creams, serums, treatments, or skincare routines.

How Does Mitochondrial Health Define Your Body? The Real Story of Energy from Within

We often hear that “food gives us energy,” but the truth is a little more complex and a lot more fascinating. The real powerhouses behind your energy are tiny structures inside your cells called mitochondria.

Exercise and Epicatechin

Exercise and Epicatechin

A study of sedentary men and women aged 18 to 45 years with no known chronic diseases divided into two groups: one received a dietary supplement and the other a placebo. Both groups engaged in moderate exercise (≥150 min/week) for three months.

Preliminary results in patients with COVID-19

Persistent fatigue is one of the symptoms that can last weeks or months after the initial SARS-CoV-2 infection. There is scientific evidence that the flavonoids can modulate the molecular pathways involved in the development of mitochondrial myopathy. To determine whether an epicatechin-enriched supplement (EC) can improve plasma markers of inflammation and fatigue in long COVID-19 patients, we conducted a randomized, double-blind, clinical trial. The study included 46 subjects (mean age 52 years) allocated into EC or placebo, and were instructed to consume 2 capsules /day for up to 90 days. A comprehensive set of endpoints were assessed, which included mean
