1. Our Information Collection Practices

We collect information about you through the Site, email, web forms, events, and business communications (e.g., distributor inquiries). The information collected varies based on how you interact with us (e.g., newsletter signup, “contact us” forms, distributor/health professional interest, cookies/analytics).

Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to a particular individual or household. It does not include publicly available information or de-identified/aggregated data.

2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

Depending on your interactions with us in the past 12 months (and going forward), we may collect:

  • Identifiers: name, email address, phone, IP address, device identifiers.

  • Customer Records (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.80(e)): contact info; limited business contact details (e.g., company, role) when you inquire as a distributor/health professional; we do not process payment card data on this Site.

  • Protected Classification Characteristics (as provided by you): e.g., age ranges if relevant to professional inquiries.

  • Commercial/Preference Info: newsletter preferences, content interests, product/category interests; we do not sell directly to end users on this Site.

  • Internet/Network Activity: browsing history on our Site, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and interactions with our content or ads.

  • Geolocation Data: approximate location derived from IP address.

  • Audio/Visual: customer service call recordings or webinar recordings if you participate (rare).

  • Inferences: preferences or segments derived from the above (e.g., “interested in distributor program”).

  • Sensitive Personal Information: we do not seek to collect sensitive personal information via the Site. If you voluntarily provide health-related information in a free-text field, we treat it as confidential business correspondence and ask that you avoid sharing medical details.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.

3. Purposes for Collection and Use

We use personal information to:

  • Operate and secure the Site and diagnose technical issues.

  • Provide information and respond to inquiries (e.g., newsletters, distributor/health professional requests).

Service Providers. We share information with vendors that provide services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, email delivery, analytics, security). We require them by contract to use personal information only to provide services to us.

No Selling of Personal Information. We do not sell personal information and do not sell directly to end users on this Site.

Advertising/Sharing. If we use advertising or analytics partners, we do so to measure performance and improve content. We do not “sell” personal information and we do not knowingly “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CPRA. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide opt-out mechanisms as required.

Business Transfers and Legal. We may disclose information (i) as required by law, regulation, or legal process; (ii) to protect the rights, property, and safety of FMG, users, or others; or (iii) in connection with a corporate transaction (e.g., merger, acquisition).

5. Sources of Information

  • Directly from you: forms, emails, newsletter sign-ups, and business communications.

  • Automatically: cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you use the Site.

  • Service providers/partners: analytics or communication tools used to support our operations.

6. How We Protect Information We Collect

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

7. Children Under the Age of 13

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it consistent with applicable laws.

8. Children Under the Age of 18

The Site is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18, nor do we knowingly “sell” or “share” such information.

Request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, purposes, and categories of disclosures.

Right to Correct

Request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to Delete

Request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., security, fraud prevention, compliance).

Exercising Your Rights

Submit requests by emailing contact@mitozz.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and include your name, email, country/state, and request type. We may need additional information to verify your identity and will only use such information for verification.

If we deny your request, we will explain why and how to appeal by replying to the same email thread with “Appeal” in the subject line.

Right to Opt-Out of Sales/Sharing; Right to Limit Use of Sensitive PI

We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use sensitive personal information beyond limited operational purposes. If our practices change, we will provide a “Your Privacy Choices” link and honor opt-out preference signals as required by law.

Choices Concerning Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where offered on the Site, via Cookie Settings. If you reject certain cookies, some features may not function.

Opt-Out Preference Signals. 

Where required by law (e.g., CPRA), we will recognize browser-based opt-out signals (such as Global Privacy Control) as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing for the browser/device sending the signal.

Your Marketing Choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the “unsubscribe” link in any message or by emailing contact@mitozz.com.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

10. International Users & Data Transfers (EEA/UK and Others)

If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries with different data-protection standards.

For individuals in the EEA/UK, we process personal data under one or more lawful bases (e.g., consent; performance of a contract; legitimate interests; compliance with legal obligations). When transferring personal data outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

The Site may link to third-party websites or include social-sharing features. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of those third parties. Review their policies before providing information.
